Day 1
Reach Yelbong and check in to the confirmed homestay. Post lunch, settle in and spend the remaining time around the village or nearby surroundings depending on arrival time and conditions. The team will brief you about the next day's Canyon Trek and local arrangements.
Day 2
After breakfast, set out with your guide for the river canyon and waterfalls, with lunch during the outing. Return to your homestay for the evening and dinner. Allow approximately 6–7 hours for the guided canyon and waterfall outing, depending on conditions and group pace. The guide confirms the route for current conditions.
Day 3
Have breakfast and check out. Request onward transport if needed. Lunch after checkout is outside this itinerary.

Meals included: arrival refreshment, 2 lunches, 2 evening snacks, 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. Meals are prepared through the confirmed homestay/local arrangement and are generally simple local or home-style meals. Vegetarian requirements can be accommodated when informed in advance. Please share food allergies, dietary restrictions or special requirements before travel. Extra meals, side dishes or items outside the confirmed package are charged separately where available.
Suitable for travellers comfortable with walking on natural, uneven and wet terrain. Standard package pricing applies from age 10. Children aged 5–9 may join subject to route suitability and guide assessment. Children below 5 may stay where the confirmed property permits but cannot participate in the Yelbong River Canyon Trek.

Follow the local guide's instructions during the Canyon Trek and river sections. Do not consume alcohol before or during the Canyon Trek. Do not litter in the village, forest, river or canyon. Avoid loud music and unnecessary disturbance in village and natural areas. Do not enter unsafe river/canyon sections without the guide's approval. Respect local homes, private spaces, people and community practices. Photography and drone use remain subject to local conditions, permissions and applicable rules.
Transport is not included. Pickup and onward transport assistance can be requested from the Travnia team. Availability and cost are confirmed separately.
The final property, room category, availability, package price and payment schedule are confirmed by Travnia before payment. A booking is treated as confirmed only after Travnia accepts the booking and receives the required advance.
The Yelbong River Canyon Trek is weather, water-level and trail-condition dependent. The route, waterfall section or timing may be changed on site when required for safety. Homestay property and room category remain subject to availability until Travnia confirms the booking. For larger groups, Travnia may use an appropriate room or property combination while keeping the confirmed package arrangement and rate in view.

Yelbong Homestay is a village stay in Yelbong, Kalimpong, suited to travellers exploring the river canyon, nearby trails and the surrounding village landscape. The property is run by Francis Rai and family and offers simple shared accommodation with regular meals and can be used as the stay base for selected Yelbong packages.

Yelbong Sun View Homestay is a small village stay in Yelbong, Kalimpong, with wide views of the surrounding hills. Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed directly from the property. The homestay currently offers three private cottages, each with one double bed and an attached toilet. Regular home-style meals are included with the stay. The property can also be used as a stay base for selected Yelbong packages and local experiences.
